The polls officialy closed at midnight and our team of adjudicators(Jimmy the Butler and cook) are busy counting and will continue long into the night. Anyone who hasn't yet voted and is still wishing to do so must have his or her ballot paper accompanied by €20 (cash) in a brown envelope.Swinging the vote entirely will cost at least €100 or it's equivalent in bin tags, turf, briquettes, petrol, sweets, whiskey, white goods or stolen laptops.

Okay, I know petrol is what we call gas, but what in the world is "white goods"? Not that I'm trying to swing the vote, or anything.

I hope you will only be using the whiskey for medicinal purposes! I'm still with Mrs.Eejit on this one, regardless of how the voting goes. Take care. (That's not a threat, merely a friendly good wish for your continuing recovery).

Will be. Your'e right Steven,I will just go with the flow and let fate take it's course!

Willow, please feel free to swing the vote(cheques made to CASH are also fine)White goods (in case your thinking of investing in this democratic process)are sort of all kitchen appliances like fridges, dishwashers and cookers and stuff. We currently need a fridge rather badly as that little rubber magnetic seal around the fridge door is getting loose. We would prefer a frost free one if possible and one of those huge walk-in American fridges would be really nice-Thank you.

Whiskey is the best medicine known to man, and I feel like a need a wee nip now to steady my nerves after that Godfather like veiled threat you initially seemed to have made.If I find a horses head in the bed ,I'll be needing the whole bottle!
