Man and Superman go on tour

Sometimes it's hard for people to get to art exhibitions, let alone afford to buy any, myself included, so with this in mind I have decided that art should go to the people. My idea is that if anyone is interested in borrowing 'Man and superman' I will post it to them to keep for ,let's say a week, maybe longer depending on demand, then they post it on to the next person for another week etc etc. Should anyone fall in love with the piece they may ,of course ,buy it. I further propose that the temporary custodians post a picture of the piece in situ in their home and write a few lines on their blog how they and their family feel about it, positive or negative -whatever. If anybody is interested just post a comment in the comment box, should a few people be interested I will work out a rota. This is part of the peoples republic of EEjit Art in the community project, art by the people for the people.Thank you bloggy comrades.

Great idea! We'd be up for giving the assemblage a party, we would endeavor to bask it in sunlight, worship at it's alter with gifts of great delight (beer, vodka, pringles, wagon wheels etc..)... it would be an honour to host such a delight..

Cool radio. Is that a radio? So retro.

Art gets restless, doesn't it?

Hello Willow, yes it is a cool looking radio €10 (almost a bargain) from Dunnes stores,i love it especially the little blue dial.Unfortunately it is shite as a radio ver, very poor so I turn it on for the blue light and use other sources for music! Glad ye liked it though-thanks.

TFE - don't be offended but I don't like it so please don't put me on your list! PS I love your blog though, and your sense of humour, and your poetry (rhyming or not) and everything else about your style - so don't hold it against me, will you?

I think this is a champion idea - definitely count me in!! I also think it would be lovely if Superman were to send you a postcard from wherever he stays, just to prove he's been around, so to speak.

As an added bonus, of course, while superman is staying with me, I can take him to visit Ragged Old Blogger and Mad Aunt Bernard - 3 old birds with one stone - Howzat!! I'll send my address separately.

Dear Weaver, your honesty is refreshing and admirable and I'm pleased (if you know what I mean) to know that you don't like it, honest feedback is more beneficial than misplaced politeness.I am not in the least bit offended :)More real opinions please!

Okay...here's the American request:

You can send it to me in the fall. Then, I can place it in the Tutoring Center at the Univ. and ask the students to post their inspirations, having gazed at this marvelous expression of creative flow. Ooh, or maybe I could make a vid and run it on YouTube. ; )

wv: hepudit: Hepudit on the table where it was admired by millions.
