EVEN MORE GOODLY NEWS ! @#*€##@
After the shock dizapoinment of the greatest story ever told in a short story being rejected,I felt perhaps I was not destined to write prose, and a branch of the literary tree of genius wot is EEjit would be lost to the world forever. But then, Lo ! on the horizon ,a twig of hope, my first ever 'flash fiction' has been accepted by the wunderbar webzine 'Ink sweat and tears' http://ink-sweat-and-tears.blogharbor.com/blog and goes up in the next 2 or 3 weeks. Incidentally I emailed my submission late on the 14th May and got my acceptance early this morning (the 17th) How quick is that? Especially compared to some print mags that can take up to and even over 12 months to reply.

That's fantastic-- please post the link when it goes up. & yes, a quick turnaround on submissions is a very good thing.
Congratulations upon congratulations! You're on a roll - keep up the good work.
Fair play to you - and thank you for the blog award. I am humbled and honoured to receive it, particularly from someone experiencing such success :)
Thank you John, yes I will post the link and getting such a quick reply is a joy-even if it had been a rejection at least you are put out of your misery quickly rather than living in false hope for months-cruel.
Thanks heather it sure is an unexpected but longed for roll-wonder how long it will last? I think of it as a raspberry jam roll with real cream and cornish vanilla ice-cream. Luffly.
You're welcome PF and thanks.I'm looking forward to you getting your own even better good news, only a matter of time methinks.
Congratulations. As for time taken, "Bewildering Stories" rejected a short story of mine in 20 minutes. Is this a record?
You are sure on a roll! Are you getting notifications on the weekend? Wow!
So glad you're being recognized for the great that you are!
Kat
Hey Kat, thanks.Yes it's a short roll but a roll nonetheless,or an open sandwich or a packet of Tayto but it's good.
Dominic , 20 minutes-are you kidding. That will take some beating. How long did it take them to read the story, did they email or were they so outraged by your story that they telephoned.'Bewildering stories' never heard of them, you'll outlive them Dominic and outshine them too.
