That's just wierd! it's incredible how the human mind makes faces from almost anything, something to do with instinct, evolution or some other uber intelligent suggestion.
I think it is almost easier to see on the small photo than on the large one. What a sad little face that is - are we in Turin shroud country here, or is it a little face you popped into the grass - or what - hope you don't start posting pictures of the face of Jesus in a slice of toast and suchlike.
I see it too - looks like a face with a fluffy ruff (pierot-style) round the neck. The phenomenon of finding faces and the like in random patterns like tree bark, wood-grain and so on is called apophenia.
It's nothing to do with me, beyond taking the picture, Weaver.I've never seen a face in a slice of tost but I did see the hanging gardens of Babylon in a peanut butter sandwich.
Wow! I missed this one, TFE! Thanks for pointing it out to us. The one I saw was in the stones, just to the right of the gravestone. Maybe that's the one Titus found, too. Or maybe there are others...
The old melamine kitchen table we had when I grew up had Abe Lincoln's face in it. I could never eat my grits in peace! (Maybe you have to be Southern [US] to get that.?)

You're right - it is there, and I can see it. I was looking too far up.

Ah. That's not the one I found.
Oh yes, I see it now.
How perceptive you are I'd not been able to find it by myself when I looked earlier this evening.
Thanks for the directions.

Yes Watercats,I made a face out of egg cartons and sticky backed plastic, with my mind alone.Twas fantastico!
I have to admit,Elisabeth, it wasn't exactly easy to find. And let's be honest ,hardly worth the effort either!
Titus! More faces? Where? Did you say aliens,Hitler or Terry Wogan,I can't remember?

An idea? Am I sparking the sparker? Cool!
