McAfixed!

I'd like to say how much I benefitted culturally, emotionally and industrially by being away from my Dell from Hell. That it gave me time to read and write and think, to dig the garden, get closer to nature and in touch with my inner self, to go for picnics and long sun-drenched gambolling walks picking daisies in the beautiful bucolically bountiful spring-flushed meadows of Wicklow. But, no. In truth I was as frustrated as a dog with one of those protective cones around it's head dying to lick it's balls, but unable. Yes, that was it exactly.

And to be fair to Mc Afee they did ring back today, were very apologetic, very polite and extremely helpful in fixing the problem.

Great to hear McAfee got the problem, er, licked for you :)

(It's very late, so I won't go on - I'm off up the wooden hill).

soundlike your in stage 48 ie they have you in a mollified condition whereby you are two steps closer to ending up in a self huggy coat- that THEY will deliver immediately no strings attached (except for the ones on the coat). This is the time you need to be sparky. I always find that a session of facebook tourettes works wonders & gets you back in form for the next round.
I have my Steampunk stall in Shebeen Chic ,Georges St this Sunday ..just sayin' in case you & Mrs TFE are around :)

Breakdowns over the internet are just too funny. Sorry, didn't mean to laugh at your problem...

Liked your "life is wonderful" description.

You remind me of my Irish husband when his computer, or any other electronic gadget, goes wrong. I pity the poor person on the other end of the line...

Sending you a smile to get through the day...

McAfee have probably been reading your blog and thought they'd better sort you out before they lost all their customers! Glad you are up and running again - I was concerned for your blood pressure.

I shall become your lowly follower and ye shall instruct me in the ways of EEjit. Oh, wait... I may already be attuned to The Way through the dangerous combination of instinct and osmosis (only one of those is my fault).

Pleased to meet you!
