On The Road With Nuala

Ten four Rubber Ducks. Looks like we need to get ourselves a convoy! We're all heading up into the Wicklow hills to get ourselves a better view.Come and join us where the air is fresh and the grass is greener.Turn up here...x... next Friday 29th Jan.Bring any car you like so long as it's RED. We're celebrating Nuala Ní Chonchúirs latest poetry collection 'Portrait of the Artist with a Red Car' I'll be asking Núala three possibly lifechanging questions about herself and the state of woman's poetry.Bring a guest if you like,Cook will be preparing Champagne hampers (hampers with champers) for each and every one of you. We'll drive up to The Mottee stone through beautiful countryside (sunshine is guaranteed) and we'll have a picnic and a bit of a hooley.Don't forget your RED cars.

Sounds good! Coincidentally, we DO have a red car. It might be a bit cold for a hooley, but then we'll just have to hooley all the more to get warm.

Love the new header TFE - I love celandines, they're so cheerful, even if they do invade the garden and grow in the lawn. We don't have a red car - pity the poetry bus isn't still on the road, I could have used my bus pass. Have a great time with Nuala. Hampers with champers? Wow!!

Nice to see you perked up again. Are those celandine flowers at the top? What a grand party we have to look forward to. I think I'll have just enough time to paint my car red by Friday.

I'll be there in spirit (a sudden waft of cold on the back of your neck? That'll be me). Good luck with the questions, I know it'll be grrrrrreeeaaattt!!

Excitement unconfined - she is a great poet.

I too have a red Honda, so the car will be no prob at all.
Lesser celandines - one of my favourites and a hint from you (I hope) that the skies are brighter. Shall be there on Friday well wrapped in furs to avoid the cold of the Wicklow Hills.
