Ah,isn't it GOOD to be ALIVE!

What I like best about blogging is there is no control. Like being on a train platform there is nothing to stop you pushing the vicar/parish priest/ pensioner/drunk in front of you under the wheels of the next high speed through train.

If I feel like saying Quantum physics in a pink blancmange I can just say it. Or at least write it and nobody can stop me but me. And I'm an idiot so I'm not likely to do that because idiots don't care about anything so long as they can shop for bovril and anchovies in their stripey pyjamas and fur lined parkas. Besides I'm in the other room and taking no notice of me at all.

On the other paw given such freedom to express myself isn't it a little bit disappointing that that is the best I can manage?

So basically I am a coward because I would never say what I would really like to say. And I think perhaps the world is a better place for that discretion. And we don't want to delay the trains too much now do we.

Come back from the other room and listen to me while I'm typing at you. You'd probably be banished from Blogger if you really spoke your mind and the trains don't need any more excuses for being late.

I think its hard to say original things if you can say anything you want. Is it so hard if you limit what you can say? By not using "E" for e(drat! I did it!)xample (no! not again!)?

No, but as the trains are late anyway then metaphorically speaking you can do as you like. In any case, as a very long-=time reader of your blog then I thought you always did say exactly what you thought anyway! I cannot tell you how lovely it is to have you back in blogland, whatever you say - gobbledegook, slander, filth - whatever.

Now I'm wondering what's REALLY on your mind!

I'm listening Mrs Heather! I probably would be banished. And be king by proxy. Whatever that means.

Dominic , you never cease to amaze me. Keep going!

Weaver I believe in England you have 'national treasures'. Stephen Fry, contrary to misconception, is no such thing. But you are. And Heather. Both an example to us all. Wise, kind, and compassionate. If only the rest of the world were.

Argent, I will communicate telepathically. And you and Dominic are National Treasures in the making!
All my blog pals are!

I only came because I heard the National Treasures were here. I'm hoping to bump into Leslie Phillips.

PYJAMA'S !
are you certain you're in Ireland, I've never heard of anybody in Laois/Offaly here who wears them or is it you just use them when shopping in Dunne's ?

I was brought up in a very conservative household and have never dared to say what I really thought of anything! Obvious from Dominic's answer that I have tried not to restrict him in the same way! As for pushing folk under trains - I can think of a few....
(mainly politicians!)

shhh.. let me let you into a secret. If, like me, you despair at the world and sometimes just want to be horribly horrible and rant in a public space, but do it in a way where the people/content concrned doesn't know it's you?.. well, I have another completely anonymous blog, I don't court followers, I just get all the shite out.. and man! It feels gooood!
