THE POETRY BUS, DOM's GONE BANANAS!!
One banana, two banana ,three banana, four.Five bananas on the Poetry Bus but we want twenty more, la la la, la la la la, la la la ,la la la la!
Get over to Dominic Rivron's blog to find out the next Poetry Bus challenge. It's different, and different is good!

Come on and do the Funky Gibbon, NOW!
Many thanks to Weaver for driving last week and doing such a great job(never seen the bus looking so tidy!) and thanks too to all you wonderful passengers for without you the bus is but a gong booming, a cymbal clashing, a tree crashing with no one to hear it. So get onboard or even better sign up to DRIVE!

I'll be there-o!
I lost my nerve for driving several years back and sometimes lose it for writing poetry! I will take a look at Dominic's challenge though, and see if anything comes to me. I like the offering to the poetry gods, hanging from that branch.
Been, seen. Still rubbing eyes in disbelief.
Have had one or two enquiries about the bus this time, which is good - and one or two new entries (passengers) - could you please do links for Dom and the next one or two as we elderly ladies (!!!) can't always do things without something to click that gets us to the right place (this is not meant to be metaphorical by the way!)
Dear Total: It is totally bananas the poem that is! Not the people on the bus that look an awful lot like astronautic Teletubies. Flying high da bus agin!
Hey TFE, this would be the perfect opportunity for you to write a haiku! It would fit on just about any piece of fruit. ; )
I must admit to feeling culturally out of touch as I don't know which of the teletubby things is hanging in the tree... Obviously haven't eaten enough bananas today.
PJ Nolan's illustration is fantastic, by the way. Can't wait to see Black Hole Head McFlinty.
Hey! How did Po get to your place? I just checked, and there she was, hanging on her hook in my office -- panting a little, I'll grant you -- but all the way to Ireland and back in the space of an afternoon? I'll have to find out what airline she uses.
ah god I loved the banana splits.
So then Mr TFE I shall see you on Sunday.
